There are four steps to the Make a Difference business development process.
Consultation
Make a Difference Ltd meets with potential clients to discuss the unique selling points of their products and services. Make a Difference will want to understand the client’s ‘story so far’.
What has worked for the company so far and what has not.
Plan
Based on the consultancy process, Make a Difference will draft a plan of action with the client. This plan of action is generally offered free of charge. Together Make a Difference Ltd and the client company will review and adapt the sales plan. At this point the client may wish for Make a Difference to execute against the sales plan. However, there is no obligation do so.
Execution
Make a Difference will apply its considerable experience and skills to execute against the business development plan. Make a Difference will approach customers under the client’s brand, using client business cards and email addresses. Make a Difference will meet regularly with the client to discuss progress against the plan. Meetings with potential customers may be attended by both Make a Difference and the client.
Review
After an agreed period, typically 4 to 8 months, both the client and Make a Difference will review the initial plan. The client can then decide whether or not to develop a further campaign with Make a Difference.
Clients pay an agreed rate per month and may terminate the program on agreed notice period.
Clients only pay for the execution steps of the process
